All limits are technically enforced at the API boundary. Exceeding them returns HTTP 429 — the app will not run a scan you didn't pay for.
Conditions & FAQ
How does the free trial work? ▾
Every paid plan comes with a 14-day free trial, configured in Stripe and enforced on our side. You enter payment details so we can switch you to the plan automatically on day 14 — but nothing is charged before that. Cancel any time in the trial and you owe nothing.
Which payment methods do you accept? ▾
Stripe handles payments. Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), SEPA direct debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and promotion codes. Business customers can request invoice billing (Rechnung) via our Contact form.
How do I cancel? ▾
Profile → Account & billing → Manage billing & invoices opens Stripe's hosted customer portal. Cancel with one click. You retain access until the end of the current paid period. No cancellation fees, ever.
Do prices include VAT? ▾
Prices are net. For EU B2B customers with a valid VAT ID, the reverse-charge mechanism applies and no VAT is added. For EU B2C and non-EU customers, Stripe adds VAT automatically at the local rate. If we currently operate under §19 UStG (Kleinunternehmer), no VAT is charged at all — see the Impressum.
Can I get an invoice (Rechnung)? ▾
Yes. Every payment automatically generates a Stripe-hosted invoice, downloadable as PDF from the customer portal. Business customers may request traditional monthly invoicing with SEPA bank transfer via Contact.
Do you offer refunds? ▾
If something is genuinely broken, yes — email support@wrongpage.com within 14 days of the first charge and we'll sort it out. Otherwise cancellation simply stops future charges; we don't pro-rate partial months.
What happens if I hit a limit? ▾
Scans beyond the daily cap return HTTP 429 with a clear message; API requests beyond the quota do the same. We never silently run an extra scan and bill you for it. Upgrade from your Dashboard or Profile whenever you need headroom.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and yearly? ▾
Yes, from the Stripe customer portal. Upgrades are pro-rated immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle to avoid loss of paid service.
